Carbon Black EDR Install, Configure, Manage Instructor Led Course
At VMware, my team and I undertook a significant project: consolidating three training courses for the Carbon Black EDR product into a single comprehensive program. These courses hadn’t been refreshed in over two years, and incorporating new features was imperative. Our challenge was to develop a cohesive three-day course suitable for both in-person and virtual instructor-led instruction. This involved meticulous planning to integrate lecture materials with practical lab exercises, ensuring a seamless learning experience.

Associate Training Videos
Brown Legacy Enterprises
The project centers on creating a training module to educate individuals in efficient record-keeping for team meeting attendance. I enhanced Google Sheets formulas, merging information for future use, and produced instructional videos and an eLearning module using Camtasia and Synthesia. These materials serve as a thorough guide for associates and offer tailored insights for managers. They streamline record-keeping processes and serve as a valuable resource for the business, benefiting future associates and managers.
Software used: Camtasia, Google Sheets, Synthesia.
Source Intelligence
This project was created for the head of Global Sourcing for CPI, to communicate information to its suppliers in a one-day vendor summit. CPI wanted to share data to emphasize the importance of vendor compliance in reporting data relevant to PFAS in the products they supply CPI. Information was taken from the “PFAS Basics” course the suppliers had already taken, and put into a short eLearning module to be shared at the vendor summit.

Storyline Interaction
This is an example of an Articulate Storyline interaction I created for use in one of the eLearning courses I worked on for the VMware Carbon Black Cloud Endpoint Standard cybersecurity product. Different parts of the diagram can be clicked to show information about each object. The information is also being read to the learner, with the option to turn off the audio. This was one of many Storyline interactions I created for that course.
Software used: Storyline 360, Adobe Photoshop
Stanly County Virtual Education
As the lead developer, I created a course to train high school teachers in online teaching methods, which was delivered to prepare for the launch of the “Stanly County Virtual Education” initiative. Additionally, I provided training for teachers to develop their own online courses and established framework for the initial online courses developed. This program has served students in the system for over a decade.
Software used: Adobe Creative Suite, Moodle
Bignic Fishing
I created an informational tutorial for customers to explore the most popular lures in the BigNic Fishing inventory. This was added to the company website and social media to answer frequent questions customers have about these lures, resulting in increased customer engagement, and fewer customer inquiries concerning products.

Graphic Design Elements
I created several eLearning units for high school students during the COVID lockdown. This unit was for a graphic design course based on North Carolina CTE curriculum. Photos/diagrams were edited in Photoshop and video was captured using Screencastify.
